Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 1, 2026 • Last Updated: March 1, 2026
Our Privacy Commitment
Vidora is built with a privacy-first architecture. We do not require account registration, do not collect personal identities, and never store passwords, cookies, or downloaded media files on our central servers.
1. Information We Collect & Device Permissions
Vidora operates primarily as a client-side media utility. We strictly limit data access to the absolute minimum necessary to provide core downloading functionality:
- Public URLs Provided by You: When you paste a URL from Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, the link is processed strictly to resolve and fetch publicly accessible media streams.
- Storage / Media Permissions (Android & iOS): To save downloaded photos and videos to your device’s Gallery or Downloads directory, the Vidora mobile app requests standard OS media write permissions. We only write media that you deliberately download. We never read, scan, or access any other existing personal files or photos on your device.
- Diagnostic & Technical Data: Non-personally identifiable diagnostic information (such as app crash logs, device OS version, and network performance indicators) may be processed in aggregate to improve stability and fix scraping issues.
2. Information We DO NOT Collect
To guarantee zero privacy leakage, Vidora enforces strict technical boundaries:
- No Account or Identity Tracking: No email, phone number, name, or social sign-in is required to use Vidora.
- No Password or Social Credential Storage: Social media sessions happen solely inside official platform webviews or isolated sandboxes. We never view or store user passwords.
- No Media Retention: Downloaded media streams directly from public content delivery networks (CDNs) straight to your device. We do not maintain any media archives or user download histories on our servers.
3. Third-Party Services & Third-Party Platforms
Vidora interacts with third-party social networks (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) strictly to interpret public data according to user instructions.
When navigating external links or webviews, the privacy policies and terms of those third-party services apply. We encourage you to review their respective privacy practices.
4. Advertising & In-App Purchases
To support the development and maintenance of Vidora, we integrate third-party services for advertising and managing in-app purchases:
- Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to serve ads in our free tier. AdMob may collect and use advertising identifiers (like Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), device data, and location data to serve personalized ads. You can manage your ad personalization preferences through your device settings or our in-app consent form.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions and in-app purchases. We do not collect, process, or store your payment details (e.g., credit card numbers). All billing is handled directly and securely by Google Play or Apple App Store. RevenueCat only processes anonymous purchase receipts to unlock your premium features.
5. Copyright & User Responsibility
Vidora is intended exclusively for personal backup, offline viewing, and educational archiving of publicly shared media.
- Users must ensure they possess appropriate rights or permissions from the original content creator before downloading or sharing media.
- Vidora does not encourage or support copyright infringement or intellectual property violations.
6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Vidora does not knowingly target, solicit, or collect information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). If you believe a minor has provided information through our services, please contact us immediately so we can take necessary corrective actions.
7. Data Security & Retention
All communications between the Vidora client and server endpoints are encrypted using industry-standard TLS / HTTPS encryption. Local download history and cache stored on your device can be cleared at any time via the Settings > Clear Cache option within the app.
8. Contact Us & Developer Support
